About this Blog

Momfidence! cheers on commonsense parenting and sighs at the rest. How to worry less, wing it more. A.k.a. parenting by the seat of my mid-rise mom jeans.

Ten Halloween "Treats" Kids Hate

October 24, 2008

A reader gave me a heads up on this great article, "The 10 Most Disappointing Treats for Trick-or-Treaters" which I goes beyond rapping miss-the-point treats like toothbrushes but also all the other cruddy foods kids try (unsuccessfully) to trade away, like hard candy. I love it because it's from a foodie site, so it's not just a curmudgeonly mom perspective.

(Although, they're even against bite-sized chocolate bars, which seems unfair in these economic times, if true from a kid's perspective!)
