Another new study tells us kids like fruits and vegetables. More than candy. Says the Calif. exec director of the group that funded the study: "While there has been a lot of research on barriers to childhood nutrition, this study dispels the myth that kids are predisposed to dislike healthy foods," Perry said. "Now our challenge is to help parents find simple,affordable ways to prepare nutritious meals and snacks for their kids." That's right, blame the parents. I have four kids:
Go figure. Same parents,same approaches, same dinner table, same refrigerator. What's different? Tastebuds. And no, I'm not hiding veggies in the casserole until they snap out of it. |
