Don't Allow It Then Complain About ItOctober 30, 2008
Head-scratcher quote of the day: "I can’t help thinking something’s wrong in a family where a person whose only source of income is part-time work as a barista ends up owning the year’s hottest tech toy [iPhone] ahead of her father, a man who loves gadgets so much that he writes about them for a living." That's the mother writing, the mother who gave her 17-y-o child the phone and is now complaining about it, the mother who is writing a column about teenagers borrowing your (her) clothes without permission (she's complaining about it). Of course there is something wrong here. Helplessness! The moms get to make the rules. The dads get to buy the gadgets they want first. What am I missing here? |
